TABERNACLE MAN ARRESTED IN ONLINE EXPLOITATION CASE: PROSECUTORS UNCOVER EXPLICIT EXCHANGES WITH MINOR

🤨🤨 Burlington County officials announced the arrest of Fredderico Soda, a 29-year-old Tabernacle resident, for exchanging explicit photos and videos with a minor he met in an online chat room. Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw stated that Soda was taken into custody at his home and charged with multiple offenses, including impairing the morals of a minor and possessing explicit images. Investigators seized electronic devices from his residence for further examination.

The investigation began earlier this year after tips from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and the Palmer Township, Pa., Police Department, who were alerted by the victim’s parents. Authorities discovered Soda continued the explicit exchanges after learning the victim was underage and had plans to meet her in person before his arrest. He is currently in Burlington County Jail awaiting a detention hearing, with the case pending a grand jury presentation.

What more can be done to ensure the safety of minors in an increasingly digital world? 🤔
