Walmart Recalls Mangoes Sold in New Jersey Over Possible Salmonella Risk

If you recently bought mangoes at Walmart in New Jersey, check the sticker before eating them.
Panorama Produce is recalling 302 boxes of Martina-brand mangoes because they may be contaminated with Salmonella.
The mangoes were shipped to stores in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticut between August 10 and August 21.
The recalled fruit has a light blue Agrofepac sticker that says “Produce of Mexico,” along with PLU 4584 and UPC 07503061948050. The boxes are labeled Martina.
According to the recall notice, FDA testing found Salmonella in mangoes from the same farm. The fruit that tested positive was not sold in the U.S., but the company issued the recall as a precaution.
No illnesses had been reported when the recall was announced.
If you have the affected mangoes, throw them away or return them to the store where you bought them.
