WARREN TOWNSHIP MAN ARRESTED FOR INSURANCE FRAUD

Authorities in Somerset County announced the arrest of Rajinder S. Randhawa, 36, of Warren Township, for insurance fraud.

New Jersey Attorney General’s Office informed the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office about the alleged fraud involving a fuel delivery trucking company that misrepresented the garaging location of its trucks on an insurance application.

An audit revealed that the trucks were actually located in Linden, not Bridgewater as stated. This misrepresentation allowed Randhawa to pay significantly lower premiums, saving $231,431 over six months. Randhawa was charged with 3rd-degree Insurance Fraud and released pending a court date.
