West Berlin still has one of the hardest Only in Jersey concepts to explain with a straight face.
Diggerland USA says it is the only construction theme and water park in the United States. Its site says families can drive, ride and operate specially engineered real construction machinery, then cool off at a construction-themed water park called The Water Main.
That combination is what makes the place so shareable. New Jersey somehow looked at excavators and splash slides and decided the answer was yes to both.
It also gives South Jersey one of those attractions that barely needs a pitch beyond the headline because the premise does most of the work.
Only in Jersey does heavy equipment become a summer family-flex brand.
