Burlington County officials charged Arthur Pitt, a 55-year-old man from Willingboro, with possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). He was arrested at his home on July 16 and held at Burlington County Jail before being released after his initial court appearance. The case is set to be presented to a grand jury.
The investigation began following a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, revealing over 1,000 CSAM images and videos in Pitt's online cloud storage.
The BCPO High-Tech Crimes Unit, with support from local police and Homeland Security, conducted the investigation, and the BCPO Special Victims Unit will prosecute Pitt.
