New Jersey residents looking to help communities affected by the earthquake in Colombia have a growing list of local donation drop-off points.
The JerseyTalks team created the ConColombia directory to help residents find and verify donation centers supporting relief efforts. The directory currently lists 11 locations in Elizabeth, Long Branch, Oakhurst, Englewood, Bergenfield, Garfield, Passaic, and Netcong.
Several drives have short collection windows, so call or check the organizer's latest post before leaving home.

The broader requested-supply list includes flashlights, batteries, work gloves, safety gear, rescue tools, blankets, hygiene products, diapers, nonperishable food, sealed first-aid supplies, formula, and clothing in good condition. Ruta de Ayuda locations say they cannot accept medicine, liquids, or open or expired products. Other drives have different rules.
Hours can shift and collection windows can close. Confirm what each organizer needs before visiting, then bring clean, usable items ready for shipment.
