JERSEY CITY, NJ — A major drug operation tied to the area of Myrtle and Mallory is off the streets after a sweeping federal takedown.
Authorities say 31 people were charged and 29 arrested following a long-term investigation into a network distributing fentanyl and cocaine across Jersey City.
What was seized:
- ~15 kilos of suspected fentanyl
- ~3 kilos of suspected cocaine
- 19 firearms + 2 recovered earlier
- Bulletproof vest, high-capacity magazines
- Over $160,000 in cash
Investigators used wiretaps, surveillance, and controlled buys to build the case before executing dozens of search warrants on April 22.
Most defendants have already appeared in federal court in Newark. If convicted, some face 5 to 40 years in prison.

Jamaar McGeachy (“Mooky”), Johnel Dunlap (“Supreme”), Albert Clawson (“Pop”), Robert Sawh, Nakia Wiggins, Kion Amaker (“Scooby”), Kenneth Hayward (“Cutty”), Jimmy Lee Cooper (“Flip”), Christopher Dangelo Jr., Shane Irby, Rahean Brown (“Rah Rah”), Shaon Griffin, Duran Williams (“D Nice”), Omar Sisay, Henry Beato, Kevin Hampton (“CB”), Dwight McGeachy, Bruce Taylor, Jamahl Daniels, Thomas Nesmith, Yusef Greene, Ikechi Anaele (“Ike”), Rashonda Rivers, Sequanna Rivers, Ramere Parker (“Parks”), Abdul Ramsey, Jeremy Powell (“O Dog”), Kasib Johnson (“Peso”), Bashir Allen, Shayne Love, Manel Smith, and Rashid Saleem.
Some defendants face additional weapons-related charges, according to prosecutors.
All charges are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
