CHRIS CHRISTIE HAS TURNED DOWN TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT AS "NO LABELS" CANDIDATE
Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has declined to run for president with the centrist political group No Labels, citing concerns about his candidacy potentially aiding Donald Trump's reelection bid. Christie's decision comes amidst ongoing efforts by No Labels to present a "unity ticket" for the November elections. Despite previous considerations, Christie's team determined that there wasn't a viable path forward for his candidacy after conducting polling in multiple states.
Christie joins other notable figures such as Nikki Haley, Joe Manchin III, and Larry Hogan in turning down offers to run with No Labels.
But What is "No Label"?
According to the Washignton Post, "No Labels", are a bipartisan group created in the wake of the tea party movement, is considering fielding a third-party ticket in the 2024 presidential election, sparking fears among Democrats that such a candidate could pull support away from their party if the next presidential contest is a rematch between President Biden and former president Donald Trump.
Either way, More and more Americans feel that both party candidates sucks, and that new faces in goverment is the way forward. But what do you say? Do you think a 3rd party will have a chance this time around? Is there a "Red wave" as some claim? or Are there any chance for a Biden's second term? Let us know what you think :)
