CHRISTOPHER GREGOR, KNOWN AS TREADMILL DAD, FOUND GUILTY IN 6-YEAR-OLD SON'S DEATH
Christopher Gregor was found guilty of aggravated manslaughter and child endangerment in the death of his 6-year-old son, Corey Micciolo.
During the trial, jurors saw surveillance video of Gregor increasing the treadmill speed, causing Corey to fall multiple times. While the jury did not convict him of first-degree murder, the aggravated manslaughter conviction could lead to a 10 to 30-year prison sentence.
The prosecution argued that Gregor's abuse ultimately led to Corey's death, despite the defense claiming the boy died from sepsis caused by pneumonia. Gregor plans to appeal the verdict. He is scheduled to be sentenced on August 2.
