FORMER GIANTS PRO BOWL QUARTERBACK DEAD AT 84
Norm Snead, a four-time Pro Bowl quarterback in the NFL, passed away at 84 on January 14 in Naples, Fla., after a lengthy illness. Snead, who played 16 seasons, had success with Washington, the Eagles, and the Giants. In 1972, he led the Giants to a winning season but faced challenges in subsequent years. Snead's career included stints with the 49ers, and he ended his playing days with over 30,000 passing yards.
Beyond football, he served as head coach at The Apprentice School and later pursued a career in real estate.
May you rest in peace Champ. 🙌🏾
