Jalen Brunson Enjoys Family Getaway After Knicks Championship Run
What happened
After one of the biggest seasons of his career, New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson is taking some well-earned time off with his family.
Brunson and his wife, Ali Brunson, recently escaped to a tropical destination with their daughter, Jordyn James Brunson, who turns 2 on Friday.
Ali shared a series of photos from the vacation on Instagram, calling the trip "exactly what we needed."
"Filled with family, slow mornings, and lots of swim diapers," she wrote.
The photos show the Brunsons soaking up the sun at a stunning oceanfront property complete with a private pool, palm trees, and panoramic water views.
Jalen kept it casual in an all-black outfit and flip-flops, while Ali wore a green strapless dress. Their daughter stole the spotlight in colorful swimsuits and bucket hats, with one photo showing Ali and Jordyn wearing matching yellow outfits.
Ali also shared a glimpse of the family's relaxing mornings, including a poolside breakfast featuring fresh fruit, juice, and tropical views.
The vacation comes after a whirlwind summer for the Brunsons. Jalen helped lead the Knicks to their first NBA championship since 1973 and was named NBA Finals MVP. The family celebrated together during New York City's championship parade, with Ali and Jordyn joining Jalen on his float through the Canyon of Heroes.
Since then, the couple has made several public appearances, including a live taping of "The Roommates Show" at Madison Square Garden and the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final in East Rutherford.
High school sweethearts from Illinois, Jalen and Ali got engaged in 2022 and married in 2023. Now, after a championship-filled summer, they're enjoying some quiet family time before the next NBA season begins.
