NEW YORK — The New York Knicks came out swinging and never looked back, dominating the Philadelphia 76ers 137–98 in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals at Madison Square Garden.

From the jump, this wasn’t close.

New York dropped 33 points in the first quarter and exploded for 41 in the second, taking full control before halftime. By the time the third quarter ended, it was already a blowout.

Leading the charge was Jalen Brunson, who put on a clinic with 35 points on 12-of-18 shooting, slicing through Philly’s defense with ease. He got plenty of help too — OG Anunoby added 18 points, while Mikal Bridges and Karl-Anthony Towns each chipped in 17.

The Knicks’ offense was clicking on all levels, shooting efficiently, moving the ball, and locking in defensively. They outscored Philly in every quarter.

On the other side, the Sixers couldn’t find rhythm. Despite a decent first half, they collapsed under pressure as the game slipped further out of reach.

New York now leads the series 1–0 and sends a clear message: they’re not here to play around.

Game 2 is up next — and if Philly doesn’t respond fast, this could get ugly quick.
