Students attended a ribbon-cutting and surprise reveal of the room. School Specialty completed the renovation, with Rutgers Athletics, the Big Ten Conference, the College Football Playoff Foundation and Eckrich among the participating partners.
The project creates an updated space for music education and collaboration. It is part of an initiative to improve school spaces in communities connected to Big Ten institutions.
