Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw announced that Danielle Ingraham, 36, of Evergreen Road in Mount Laurel, has been charged with abusing two children under her care.
Ingraham faces two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Second Degree) and two counts of Cruelty to a Child (Fourth Degree). She was arrested at her home on Monday and is being held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility in Mays Landing pending a detention hearing in Mount Holly Superior Court.
The investigation began after an infant was taken to a pediatrician with a bruised eye following their time at Ingraham’s residence. Authorities allege Ingraham slapped both the infant and a toddler in her care.
The case is being prepared for presentation to a grand jury for possible indictment.
